Omschrijving
(op de bijbehorende kaart aangegeven met nr.4) TOEGANGSHEKKEN. Aan de Bronkhorsterweg twee toegangen naar de buitenplaats gemarkeerd door twee achtkantige pijlers van geschilderd natuursteen waarop de naam 'spaens' 'weerd'. Tussen de pijlers een dubbel smeedijzeren spijlenhek. Waarschijnlijk daar in het begin van de twintigste eeuw neergezet.
Waardering TOEGANGSHEKKEN van algemeen belang:
- vanwege de markering van de toegang tot de buitenplaats;
- als karakteristiek en functioneel onderdeel van de buitenplaats;
- vanwege de ensemblewaarde.

At the Bronkhorsterweg two entrances to the country estate marked by two octagonal pillars of painted natural stone on which the name 'spaens' 'weerd'. Between the pillars a double wrought iron railing gate. Probably erected there at the beginning of the twentieth century.
