Omschrijving complexonderdeel 2
Vrijstaande GEHOORZAAL op samengestelde plattegrond van één bouwlaag, onder zadeldak met rode kruispannen gedekt en met de nok evenwijdig aan de weg.
Op de nok van het dak is op de middenas een achtzijdige klokkenstoel of dakruiter gezet, bekroond door een met leien gedekte spits. Alle gevelzijden zijn wit bepleisterd met uitzondering van drie horizontale banden in schoon metselwerk waarmee de korte zijgevels zijn versierd.
Het gebouw bestaat uit een in het midden geplaatst hoofdvolume en is zeven vensterassen breed die door een steunbeer gescheiden worden. De steunberen zijn op twee plaatsen voorzien van een geprofileerde steen, waarboven de steunbeer zich verjongt. Op elke as is tussen de steunberen een roedenvenster is geplaatst. Voor de voor- en achtergevel (noord- en zuidzijde) is in de jaren vijftig van de twintigste eeuw een aanbouw onder een plat gebouwd met een vooruitspringende ingangspartij onder een licht hellend plat dat uitloopt in een rondboogvormige, overhangende luifel. Deze aanbouw valt buiten de rijksbescherming. Tegen de linkerzijgevel staat een aanbouw onder een zadeldak, waarvan de nok- en goothoogte lager is dan van het hoofdvolume. Deze wordt geflankeerd door een kleiner bouwvolume onder een lessenaarsdak. De zijgevel heeft vier stalen achtruitsvensters die per twee door smalle muurdammen gekoppeld zijn. Boven deze vensters is een natuurstenen plaquette aangebracht, waarop 'Gehoorzaal' vermeldt staat. De rechter zijgevel heeft een onder een zadeldak gedekte kleinere aanbouw, die geflankeerd wordt door een lager zijvolume onder keperdak. Vanuit de hoeken lopen twee steunberen langs de gevel van het hoofdvolume omhoog die met een geprofileerde deksteen worden afgesloten.

Detached ASSEMBLY HALL on a composite plan of one storey, under a gabled roof covered with red cross tiles and with the ridge parallel to the road.
On the ridge of the roof, on the central axis, is placed an eight-sided bell cote or roof ventilator, crowned by a spire covered with slate. All facade sides are rendered white with the exception of three horizontal bands in fair masonry with which the short side facades are decorated.
The building consists of a main volume placed in the centre and is seven window bays wide, which are separated by a buttress. The buttresses are provided at two places with a profiled stone, above which the buttress tapers. On each bay, between the buttresses, a glazing bar window is placed. For the front and rear facades (north and south side), in the nineteen-fifties a annex under a flat roof was built with a projecting entrance section under a slightly inclined flat roof which runs out into a rounded, overhanging canopy. This annex is outside the national monument protection. Against the left side facade stands an annex under a gabled roof, of which the ridge and gutter height is lower than that of the main volume. This is flanked by a smaller building volume under a lean-to roof. The side facade has four steel inward-opening windows which are coupled in pairs by narrow wall piers. Above these windows a natural stone plaque is applied, on which 'Assembly Hall' is mentioned. The right side facade has an annex covered under a gabled roof, which is flanked by a lower side volume under a half-hipped roof. From the corners two buttresses run along the facade of the main volume upwards which are finished with a profiled coping stone.
Valuation of complex component 2
The assembly hall is of cultural-historical value because of its original function as well as of ensemble value as part of the first buildings on the site of the W.A. Hoeve.
