Omschrijving complexonderdeel 2
Vrijstaande TUINMANSWONING van twee bouwlagen (hoofdvolume) en één bouwlaag (aanbouw linkerzijde) op stenen plint en rechthoekige plattegrond onder een met bitumen gedekt zadeldak, waarvan de dakschilden oversteken. De gevels zijn geconstrueerd uit houten gesneden stijlen en regels. De velden zijn opgevuld met verticale kraaldelen in de smalle velden of met diagonale kraaldelen in de grotere velden naast de vensters. Direct boven de vensters in de eerste bouwlaag zijn velden met stijlen in kruisvorm aangebracht. De velden boven deze rij zijn met eenvoudige, verticaal aangebrachte messing-en-groef planken opgevuld, waarop vervolgens een rechthoekige geprofileerde lijst is gezet. Deze oplossing is ook toegepast in de meeste velden in de tweede bouwlaag.
De voorgevel aan de zuidzijde heeft een symmetrische indeling van drie vensterassen met een in het midden geplaatste stolpdeur die geflankeerd wordt door een venster waarvan de middenstijl is verwijderd. In de verdieping bevinden zich drie gekoppelde vensters met draairamen. Links van het hoofdvolume is een kleine aanbouw gezet waarin de hoofdingang met een nieuwe deur is geplaatst. De achtergevel heeft rechts de genoemde aanbouw, waarin een nieuw groot venster en twee smalle vensters. De achtergevel van het hoofdvolume kenmerkt zich door een extra bepleisterde kelderverdieping -thans garage-, waarin een dubbele deur en twee liggende vensters zijn geplaatst. In de eerste bouwlaag bevinden zich twee, vermoedelijk later gewijzigde vensters (de middenstijl ontbreekt). In de verdieping zijn twee gekoppelde vensters geplaatst. De niet oorspronkelijke onderdelen vallen buiten de bescherming.
De topgevel van de aanbouw in de rechterzijgel is in de top verrijkt met ajourwerk. Het grote venster links is een latere verandering.
De linkerzijgevel is wat de detaillering betreft conform de andere gevels. De top is verrijkt met ajourwerk.
Waardering complexonderdeel 2
De tuinmanswoning is van cultuurhistorisch en architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege bouwtype en detaillering alsmede van ensemble waarde als historisch onderdeel van de voormalige buitenplaats Prins Hendriksoord.

Description of complex component 2
Detached GARDENER'S COTTAGE of two storeys (main volume) and one storey (extension on left side) on stone plinth and rectangular plan under a bitumen-covered gabled roof, with roof tiles projecting beyond the edge. The façades are constructed from wooden cut studs and rails. The panels are filled with vertical bead elements in the narrow panels or with diagonal bead elements in the larger panels beside the windows. Directly above the windows in the first storey are panels with studs arranged in cross form. The panels above this row are filled with simple, vertically arranged tongue-and-groove boards, on which a rectangular moulded list is subsequently placed. This solution is also applied in most of the panels in the second storey.
The front façade on the south side has a symmetrical arrangement of three window bays with a stoep door placed in the middle which is flanked by a window whose mullion has been removed. On the upper storey there are three coupled windows with casement sashes. To the left of the main volume is a small extension in which the main entrance with a new door is placed. The rear façade has on the right the aforementioned extension, in which a new large window and two narrow windows. The rear façade of the main volume is characterised by an additional plastered basement storey - now garage - in which a double door and two horizontal windows are placed. On the first storey there are two, presumably later altered windows (the mullion is absent). On the upper storey two coupled windows are placed. The non-original components fall outside the protection.
The top gable of the extension in the right-hand side wing is enriched at the top with openwork. The large window on the left is a later alteration.
The left-hand side façade is, as regards detailing, consistent with the other façades. The top is enriched with openwork.
Valuation of complex component 2
The gardener's cottage is of cultural-historical and architectural-historical importance because of building type and detailing as well as of ensemble value as a historical component of the former country estate Prins Hendriksoord.
