Omschrijving complexonderdeel 5
In neogotische trant uitgevoerd FAMILIEGRAF van Albert Voombergh (1793-1851) op de eerste algemene begraafplaats te Zeist, gelegen in vak aan de zuidzijde van vak A, nummer 31-32. Albert Voombergh was eigenaar van de buitenplaats Hoog Beek en Royen. Het graf beslaat twee vakken, is gemetseld en afgedekt met een hardstenen zerk. Aan het hoofdeinde staat een uit één stuk vervaardigde dubbele stèle met spitsboogvormige beëindiging. Op deze stèle staan de namen van de overledenen vermeld, waaronder ook leden van de geslachten Pauw en Van Loon. In de top van de spitsbogen zijn twee marmeren grafsymbolen aangebracht, namelijk een vlinder en een krans. De smalle kolom die de spitsbogen scheidt wordt bekroond door een marmeren kruis.
Waardering complexonderdeel 5
Het familiegraf behorend bij de eerste algemene Zeister begraafplaats is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzonder voorbeeld van de negentiende eeuwse funeraire cultuur alsmede vanwege de ensemblewaarde binnen de aanleg van het complex.

A FAMILY GRAVE executed in neogothic style of Albert Voombergh (1793-1851) on the first general cemetery of Zeist, located in a plot on the south side of plot A, number 31-32. Albert Voombergh was owner of the country estate Hoog Beek en Royen. The grave occupies two plots, is constructed in masonry and covered with a hardstone gravestone. At the head end stands a double stele made from a single piece with a pointed-arch termination. On this stele are recorded the names of the deceased, including also members of the families Pauw and Van Loon. In the apex of the pointed arches are two marble grave symbols affixed, namely a butterfly and a wreath. The narrow column that divides the pointed arches is crowned by a marble cross.
Valuation of complex component 5
The family grave belonging to the first general cemetery of Zeist is of cultural-historical value as a remarkable example of nineteenth-century funerary culture and also by virtue of its ensemble value within the layout of the complex.
