BRUG MET KEERMUREN. Vanaf de oprijlaan voert een bakstenen brug over de gracht naar het voorplein. De brug uit 1863 is een ontwerp van L.H. Eberson. Brug in neobarokke stijl op drie platte bogen waartussen natuurstenen wapenschilden Van Rechteren Limpurg met vorstenkroon en Van Rechteren en ANNO 1863; zandstenen balustrade met vierkante balusters in neo Lodewijk XVI-vormen, geleed volgens ritme van de bogen; hierop paarsgewijs in totaal tien vazen en bolvormige ornamenten van verschillende vorm; plaveisel van klinkers. Aansluitend de bakstenen keermuur van het voorplein langs de gracht links en rechts van de brug, uit dezelfde tijd; de keermuur heeft een door lisenen gelede borstwering van baksteen met natuurstenen dekplaten; de borstwering is even hoog als de brugbalustrade.

BRIDGE WITH RETAINING WALLS. From the drive a brick bridge spans the moat to the forecourt. The bridge dating from 1863 is a design by L.H. Eberson. Bridge in nebaroquestyle on three flat arches between which natural stone shields Van Rechteren Limpurg with princely crown and Van Rechteren and ANNO 1863; sandstone balustrade with square balusters in neo Louis XVI forms, divided according to the rhythm of the arches; upon it in pairs a total of ten vases and spherical ornaments of various shapes; paving of bricks. Adjoining the brick retaining wall of the forecourt along the moat left and right of the bridge, from the same period; the retaining wall has a breastwork of brick divided by pilasters with natural stone coping; the breastwork is as high as the bridge balustrade.
