HEKKEN; er zijn twee hekken:
- een diagonaal geplaatst smeedijzeren hek (twee vleugels) (7A) tussen het kasteel en het linker bouwhuis, XIX;
- twee vierkante bakstenen pijlers met daartussen smeedijzeren vleugels (7B), XX, een meter achter het linker bouwhuis in het verlengde van de eindgevel aan kasteelzijde; op de pijlers natuurstenen pijnappelachtige bekroningen, XVIII: rond opstaande acanthusbladen, waarin een tros druiven van verschillende grootte; dit geheel staat op een achtkante kraag met halfrond profiel, die via een uitzwenkende hals met gérende facetten uitloopt in een laag vierkant basement;

De HEKKEN, behorend tot de historische buitenplaats Rechteren, zijn van algemeen belang:
- wegens de ouderdom;

Description
GATES; there are two gates:
- a diagonally placed wrought iron gate (two wings) (7A) between the castle and the left outbuilding, 19th century;
- two square brick pillars with wrought iron wings between them (7B), 20th century, one metre behind the left outbuilding in line with the end gable on the castle side; on the pillars natural stone pinecone-like crowns, 18th century: round rising acanthus leaves, in which a bunch of grapes of various sizes; this whole stands on an octagonal collar with half-round profile, which via an angled neck with bevelled facets extends into a low square base;
Valuation
The GATES, belonging to the historic country estate Rechteren, are of general significance:
- on account of their age;
- on account of cultural-historical values, in particular the art-historical value of the 18th-century pillar crowns.
