VAKWERKSCHUUR
De links van de boerderij staande VAKWERKSCHUUR dateert in oorsprong uit ca. 1830 en haaks op de Ootmarsumsedijk geplaatst.
Omschrijving
De VAKWERKSCHUUR is deels onderkelderd en is opgetrokken in vakwerk, metselwerk en hout. De schuur heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en wordt overkapt door een met rode Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met ongelijke dakschilden. Het lage linker dakschild is geknikt. Tegen de naar de weg gekeerde korte zijde een recht overtoogde baander en ee n venster. Tegen deze gevel staat een houten hondenhok als afsluiting van de kelder. In de rechter zijgevel een laag staldeurtje. In de achtergevel een recht overtoogde baander en een hooiluik in de top, in de linker zijgevel twee staldeuren en een venster. In de schuur ondermeer de originele gebintconstructie en een stalgedeelte.
Tegen de achtergevel een niet authentieke houten aanbouw op rechthoekige grondslag die wegens geringe monumentale waarde voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang is.
Waardering
De VAKWERKSCHUUR is van algemeen architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de gaafheid van zowel interieur als exterieur en de relatie met de andere samenstellende onderdelen van het complex.

The HALF-TIMBERED BARN standing to the left of the farmhouse dates in origin from ca. 1830 and is placed at right angles to the Ootmarsumsedijk.
Description
The HALF-TIMBERED BARN is partly cellared and is constructed in half-timber, brickwork and wood. The barn has a rectangular plan and is covered by a gabled roof with unequal roof slopes covered with red Dutch tiles. The low left roof slope is bent. Against the short side facing the road a straight arched entrance and a window. Against this gable a wooden dog hut serves as a closure of the cellar. In the right side gable a low stable door. In the rear gable a straight arched entrance and a hay loft in the gable, in the left side gable two stable doors and a window. In the barn among other things the original roof truss structure and a stable section.
Against the rear gable an inauthentic wooden extension on a rectangular ground plan which, due to minor monument value, is of subordinate importance for protection.
Valuation
The HALF-TIMBERED BARN is of general architectural and cultural-historical importance because of the integrity of both interior and exterior and the relationship with the other constituent components of the complex.
