BOERDERIJ MET WATERPUT
De uit ca. 1830 daterende BOERDERIJ van het hallehuistype staat met de voorgevel parallel aan de Ootmarsumsedijk en is een van de vroegste 19de-eeuwse ontginningsboerderijen in het gebied. Rechts naast de boerderij staat een gemetselde WATERPUT.
Omschrijving
De BOERDERIJ heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond en is opgetrokken in rode baksteen, in een gedeelte van de linker zijgevel en de achtergevel is vakwerk aanwezig. De boerderij wordt overkapt d oor een met rode Oud-hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met inknikkende dakschilden met ter hoogte van de brandmuur een gemetselde schoorsteen. De toppen van de voor- en achtergevel zijn beschoten en voorzien van windveren. In de vijf traveeën brede voorgevel bevindt zich de entree bestaande uit een houten, groen geschilderde deur met bovenlicht met stervormige roedenverdeling. Links naast de entree twee grote zes-ruits schuifvensters en een klein zes-ruits schuifvenster. Rechts een klein zes-ruits schuifvens ter. In de voorgevel een gepleisterd trasraam (in een lichte kleur) tot aan de onderdorpels van de vensters waarin vier blauw geschilderde ruitmotieven. In de achtergevel met vakwerk bevindt zich centraal een recht overtoogde baander met links en rechts een staldeurtje en een klein half afgerond venster.
De rechter zijgevel is gedeeltelijk in vakwerk opgetrokken en voorzien van drie H-vensters, een klein vierkant venster en een getoogd stalraam en twee lage staldeurtjes. De linker zijgevel is voorzien van een laag staldeurtje en drie getoogde stalramen en twee H-vensters.
Interieur Het interieur heeft nog de oorspronkelijke drie-beukige indeling en de scheiding tussen het woon- en bedrijfsgedeelte. In het eenvoudige interieur bevinden zich originele details als de gebintconstructie, keienvloer in het woongedeelte, wandtegels, een in de deel uitgebouwde bedstede, schouw met betegeling, deuren en bordenkast. In het bedrijfsgedeelte bevinden zich ondermeer een lemen vloer, een paarden-, schapen- en koeienstal .
Waardering
De BOERDERIJ MET WATERPUT is van algemeen architectuur- en cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege de bijzondere gaafheid van zowel interieur als exterieur van de boerderij en de relatie met de andere samenstellende onderdelen van het complex.

FARMHOUSE WITH WATER WELL
The FARMHOUSE dating from c. 1830 of the hall-house type stands with its front facade parallel to the Ootmarsumsedijk and is one of the earliest 19th-century reclaimed-land farmhouses in the area. To the right of the farmhouse stands a brick WATER WELL.
Description
The FARMHOUSE has a rectangular plan and is constructed in red brick, in part of the left side facade and the rear facade timber-framing is present. The farmhouse is covered by a gabled roof covered with red Old Dutch tiles with incurved roof edges with at the height of the firewall a brick chimney. The tops of the front and rear facades are rendered and provided with weather vanes. In the five-bay wide front facade the entrance is situated consisting of a wooden, green-painted door with fanlight with star-shaped glazing bars. To the left of the entrance two large six-pane sash windows and a small six-pane sash window. To the right a small six-pane sash window. In the front facade a rendered stone window (in a light colour) down to the window sills containing four blue-painted diamond motifs. In the rear facade with timber-framing centrally a straight arched bay with to the left and right a small stable door and a small half-rounded window.
The right side facade is partly constructed in timber-framing and provided with three H-windows, a small square window and an arched stable window and two low stable doors. The left side facade is provided with a low stable door and three arched stable windows and two H-windows.
Interior The interior still has the original three-aisle arrangement and the division between the residential and business section. In the simple interior original details are found such as the roof truss structure, stone floor in the residential section, wall tiles, a built-in bed-alcove in the threshing floor, hearth with tilework, doors and plate cupboard.
