R.K. Kerk van de H. Joannes de Doper. Zaalkerk uit 1854 met spitsboogvensters en een slanke toren in vroege neo-gotische trant. De door een gestucadoord gewelf met steekkappen overdekte kerk heeft wandkolonetten met stucwerkbladkapitelen en te weerszijden van het koor twee in de kerkruimte inspringende zijkapellen op slanke bundelzuilen. Traceerwerk in de zwikken van de triomfboog. Neo-gotisch gesneden meubilair: altaar, preekstoel, communiebank en orgelkas. Orgel in 1856 gebouwd door de Gebr. Adema. Mechanisch torenuurwerk, Duits fabrikaat.

Description
R.K. Church of Saint John the Baptist. Hall church from 1854 with pointed arch windows and a slender tower in early neo-gothic style. The church, covered by a stuccoed vault with jack arches, has wall columns with stucco leaf capitals and on both sides of the choir two side chapels projecting into the church space on slender bundle columns. Tracery work in the spandrels of the triumphal arch. Neo-gothic carved furnishings: altar, pulpit, communion rail and organ case. Organ built in 1856 by Gebr. Adema. Mechanical tower clock, German manufacture.
