Inleiding
Achter de portierswoning met poortdoorgang bevindt zich een garage met werkplaats naar ontwerp van de gebroeders Fukkink, die gelijktijdig met bovengenoemde portierswoning in opdracht van de heer De Wetstein Pfister in 1927 gebouwd is.

Een achter de portierswoning (complexonderdeel 5) gelegen GARAGE MET WERKPLAATS van één bouwlaag op rechthoekige plattegrond onder een bitumen schilddak, waarvan uiteinden van de dakschilden naar beneden toe afgerond zijn. Op de nok van het dak aan de zuidzijde is een dakruiter gezet, dat als ventilatie dient voor de garage. De dakruiter heeft een zinken, uitkragend tentdakje gekregen. Aan de noordzijde van de nok is een schoorsteen gemetseld.
De lange zijgevels, aan de west en oostzijde, hebben een praktisch identieke indeling gekregen en zijn zes traveeën breed. In elke travee is een ijzeren roedenvenster gezet, met uitzondering van de rechterzijgevel waar op de tweede travee van rechts een ijzeren roedendeur met bovenlicht is geplaatst. Deze deur geeft toegang tot de werkplaats. In de korte achtergevel aan de noordzijde zijn twee vensters geplaatst conform de vensters in de zijgevels. De voor- of zuidgevel bestaat uit drie houten roldeuren, waarvan er twee nog origineel zijn.
De plattegrondindeling en het interieur verkeren nagenoeg in originele staat.
Waardering
De garage is van architectuurhistorische waarde als vroeg voorbeeld van een garage alsmede van cultuurhistorische en ensemblewaarde als gaaf onderdeel van de voormalige buitenplaats Heidestein.

Description
A GARAGE WITH WORKSHOP located behind the lodge (complex component 5) consisting of one storey on a rectangular plan under a bitumen hipped roof, the ends of whose roof boards are rounded downwards. On the ridge of the roof on the south side a roof monitor has been placed, which serves as ventilation for the garage. The roof monitor has been given a zinc, projecting pitched roof. On the north side of the ridge a chimney has been built in.
The long side facades, on the west and east sides, have been given a practically identical layout and are six bays wide. In each bay is an iron-barred window, with the exception of the right-hand side facade where on the second bay from the right an iron-barred door with fanlight has been placed. This door provides access to the workshop. In the short rear facade on the north side two windows have been placed in accordance with the windows in the side facades. The front or south facade consists of three wooden rolling doors, two of which are still original.
The floor plan layout and interior are in virtually original condition.
Valuation
The garage is of architectural historical value as an early example of a garage as well as of cultural historical and ensemble value as an intact component of the former country estate Heidestein.
