Inleiding
In het als gebied A omschreven gedeelte van het beschermde deel van de Rooms-katholieke begraafplaats, zuidelijk van het toegangspad, direct ten zuiden naast de voormalige entree gelegen groep grafmonumenten. De groep bestaat uit de monumenten die het meest oostelijk gelegen zijn vanaf het entreepad, tot en met de ten zuiden hiervan gelegen groep van drie monumenten met het hoge obeliskachtige monument van de familie Van Waesberghe in het midden.
Omschrijving
De grafmonumenten zijn onder meer uitgevoerd in gebeeldhouwd natuursteen in de vorm van een kruis of een christusbeeld op een monumentale sokkel met een daarvoor liggende grafplaat. Kenmerkend is de veel voorkomende afscheiding van de individuele grafplaatsen door een natuurstenen balustrade of een zinken ketting tussen natuurstenen kolommen.

Introduction
In the part of the protected Roman Catholic cemetery described as area A, south of the access path, directly to the south beside the former entrance, a group of grave monuments. The group consists of the monuments which are most easterly located from the entrance path, to and including the group of three monuments located to the south with the tall obelisk-like monument of the Van Waesberghe family in the middle.
Description
The grave monuments are amongst other things executed in carved natural stone in the form of a cross or a Christ figure on a monumental plinth with a grave slab in front of it. Characteristic is the frequently occurring separation of individual grave sites by a natural stone balustrade or a zinc chain between natural stone columns.

Group of grave monuments of general importance as a characteristic, constituent complex component.
