Restant van de oude EENDENKOOI, behorende tot Huis Maarsbergen. De voormalige kooi is gelegen in een drassig bosperceel ten noord-oosten van Huis Maarsbergen en nagenoeg grenzend aan de Parallelweg. De eendenkooi wordt reeds vermeld in de veertiende eeuw (1370). Het huidige overblijfsel, een rechthoekige plas die ooit deel uitmaakte van het veel grotere ZWARTE WATER, staat bekend als DE KOM.

Description
Remnant of the old DUCK DECOY, belonging to Huis Maarsbergen. The former decoy is located in a boggy wooded plot to the northeast of Huis Maarsbergen and almost bordering on the Parallelweg. The duck decoy is already mentioned in the fourteenth century (1370). The present remnant, a rectangular pond that was once part of the much larger BLACK WATER, is known as THE KOM.
