Omschrijving
TWEE midden-19de-eeuwse KASSEN, behorende tot Huis Maarsbergen en gelegen ten noordoosten daarvan naast de oranjerie. De linker, kleinere kas was oorspronkelijk in gebruik als BLOEMENKAS, de rechter als DRUIVENKAS. Beide kassen zijn rechthoekig en opgetrokken in bruinrode baksteen; de afzaten van de bloemenkas zijn bepleisterd, die van de druivenkas afgezet met betonnen platen met profiel. De opbouw van de BLOEMENKAS is, zij het in ruineuze staat, nog aanwezig en bestaat uit een hoge achterwand, een lage voorwand en schuin oplopende zijmuren. In de achterwand bevindt zich een dichtgemetselde halfronde stookopening, in de rechter zijmuur een poortje met halfronde afsluiting en segmentboog. De ijzeren glasroeden zijn nog aanwezig, maar verkeren in slechte staat. Van de DRUIVENKAS zijn nog slechts de achter- en zijmuren bewaard, evenals de bakstenen aanzetten voor de glaspanelen.

Description
TWO mid-19th-century GLASSHOUSES, belonging to Huis Maarsbergen and situated to the northeast of it next to the orangery. The left, smaller glasshouse was originally used as a FLOWER HOUSE, the right one as a GRAPE HOUSE. Both glasshouses are rectangular and constructed in red-brown brick; the plinths of the flower house are plastered, those of the grape house finished with profiled concrete panels. The structure of the FLOWER HOUSE is, albeit in ruinous condition, still present and consists of a high rear wall, a low front wall and sloping side walls. In the rear wall is located a bricked-up semicircular stoke hole, in the right side wall a small door with semicircular closure and segmental arch. The iron glazing bars are still present but in poor condition. Of the GRAPE HOUSE only the rear and side walls remain, as well as the brick settings for the glass panels.
