Omschrijving
BOERDERIJ van het Oldambtster type uit 1858 opgetrokken in een Ambachtelijk-traditionele bouwtrant, met in de zuidgevel twee krimpen, bestaande uit een VOORHUIS en SCHUUR.
Het één bouwlaag hoge VOORHUIS is geheel onderkelderd; voorgevel en westgevel zijn in blokken gepleisterd en hebben een gepleisterde plint; oostgevel is opgemetseld van rode baksteen; alle gevels worden beëindigd door een kroonlijst. Voorhuis wordt gedekt door een zadeldak waarop geglazuurde blauwe Hollandse pannen; achterste gedeelte van voorhuis wordt gedekt door golfplaten; op nok twee schoorstenen (niet origineel) met een geornamenteerde kap. Vensters zijn verticaal en rechthoekig; vensters in oostgevel worden beëindigd door strekken.
Zuidgevel, voorgevel, is tuitgevel. In midden van begane grond een vierkante serre uit 1928 met gesnoten hoeken en gedekt door een plat dak; onderbouw van serre is van gepleisterde baksteen en bovenbouw van hout; vensters zijn verticaal en hebben in bovenlichten glas-in-lood; aan oostzijde een deur met betonnen trap. Aan weerszijden van serre twee horizontale keldervensters met luiken en daarboven twee vensters met luiken. In topgevel drie kleinere verticale vensters; boven middelste venster een natuurstenen gevelsteen met opschrift: "K.I. Borgman R.S. Groenwold I.K. Borgman Oud-Bokum 1858". Westgevel heeft drie keldervensters, waarvan twee met luiken; op begane grond twee vensters met luiken en twee kleinere verticale venters; in krimp een kleiner verticaal venster; in gedeelte tussen eerste krimp en uitbouw twee kleinere verticale vensters en een niet originele deur met bovenlicht. Uitbouw aan westgevel is één bouwlaag hoog en heeft plat dak; gevels zijn opgemetseld van rode baksteen, hebben trasraam van gesinterde steen en worden beëindigd door goot op klossen. In westgevel van uitbouw bevindt zich een opgeklampte houten deur met tweedelig bovenlicht en drie zesruits vensters beëindigd door strekken; in zijgevel van uitbouw een zelfde venster. Oostgevel heeft vier keldervensters, waarvan twee met luiken. Op begane grond van zuid naar noord twee vensters met luiken, twee kleinere niet-originele verticale vensters en twee zesruits vensters met luiken. Onder middelste twee vensters bevindt zich een dichtgemetselde deuropening naar de kelder. In zijgevel van krimp een kleiner verticaal venster met daarboven een rond venster met gietijzeren roeden en een opgeklampte deur met halfrond bovenlicht; langs gevelrand gevlochten metselwerk.
De SCHUUR wordt gedekt door een wolfdak van golfplaten, waaronder riet; op hoeknok een houten uilenbord met windwijzer; gevels zijn opgemetseld in rode baksteen. Oost- en westgevel hebben kleine halfronde stalvensters met gietijzeren roeden; oostgevel is opnieuw opgemetseld. Achtergevel wordt beëindigd door kroonlijst; heeft drie dubbele opgeklampte schuurdeuren, waarvan een grote en twee kleinere; boven schuurdeuren een bovenlicht met gietijzeren roedenverdeling, beëindigd door een korfboog. In korfboog van oostelijke, grote schuurdeur een sluitsteen met opschrift "K.E. I.M. 1785", afkomstig van de vorige boerderij; in bovenlicht van dezelfde schuurdeur is Ceres, godin van de landbouw, omgeven door een lauwerkrans afgebeeld. In zuid- en noordgevel en in noordelijk gedeelte een opgeklampte houten deur. In zuid- en oostgevel een klein rechthoekig vierruits venster; in noordelijke deel aan weerszijden van deur een zesruits segmentboogvenster.
In het INTERIEUR van het voorhuis zijn onder meer van belang: in de gang de plafonds, versierd met eclectisch pleisterwerk; de wanden met gemarmerde lambrizering; bovenlicht met gezandstraald glas voorstellende een boer die met de arendploeg zijn akkers bewerkt.
In het INTERIEUR van de schuur met acht vakken zijn onder meer van belang: het karnhuis; een donkere gang.
In de uitbouw aan de oostgevel van de hoofdschuur twee waterpompen.

FARM of the Oldambtster type erected in 1858 in a Craft-traditional building style, with two gables in the south facade, consisting of a MAIN HOUSE and BARN.
The MAIN HOUSE, one storey high, is entirely cellaried; front facade and west facade are rendered in blocks and have a rendered plinth; east facade is built of red brick; all facades are finished by a cornice. Main house is covered by a gabled roof with glazed blue Dutch tiles; rear section of main house is covered by corrugated iron; on the ridge two chimneys (not original) with an ornamented cap. Windows are vertical and rectangular; windows in east facade are finished by stone sills.
South facade, front facade, is a spout gable. In the centre of the ground floor a square conservatory from 1928 with clipped corners and covered by a flat roof; underbuild of conservatory is of rendered brick and superstructure of wood; windows are vertical and have glass-in-lead in the fanlights; on the east side a door with concrete steps. On either side of the conservatory two horizontal cellar windows with shutters and above them two windows with shutters. In the top gable three smaller vertical windows; above the middle window a natural stone facade stone with inscription: "K.I. Borgman R.S. Groenwold I.K. Borgman Oud-Bokum 1858". West facade has three cellar windows, two of which with shutters; on the ground floor two windows with shutters and two smaller vertical windows; in the gable a smaller vertical window; in the section between the first gable and the extension two smaller vertical windows and a non-original door with fanlight. Extension on west facade is one storey high and has a flat roof; facades are built of red brick, have a transom window of sintered stone and are finished by a gutter on corbels. In the west facade of the extension there is a clamped wooden door with two-part fanlight and three six-light windows finished by stone sills; in the side facade of the extension the same window. East facade has four cellar windows, two of which with shutters. On the ground floor from south to north two windows with shutters, two smaller non-original vertical windows and two six-light windows with shutters. Below the middle two windows is a bricked-up door opening to the cellar. In the side facade of the gable a smaller vertical window with above it a round window with cast-iron glazing bars and a clamped door with semicircular fanlight; along the facade edge plaited brickwork.
The BARN is covered by a half-hipped roof of corrugated iron, with thatch underneath; on the corner ridge a wooden owl board with weathervane; facades are built of red brick. East and west facades have small semicircular stable windows with cast-iron glazing bars; east facade has been rebuilt. Back facade is finished by a cornice; has three double clamped barn doors, one large and two smaller; above the barn doors a fanlight with cast-iron glazing bar divisions, finished by a segmental arch. In the segmental arch of the eastern, large barn door is a keystone with inscription "K.E. I.M. 1785", originating from the previous farm; in the fanlight of the same barn door Ceres, goddess of agriculture, is depicted surrounded by a laurel wreath. Middle barn door has a horse depicted in its keystone and western barn door a cow. Between barn doors and at corners semicircular windows with cast-iron glazing bars; above two smaller barn doors three semicircular windows with cast-iron glazing bars; above the middle barn door a clamped door (not original) finished by a semicircular arch. On the east facade of the barn, at the height of the gable, there is an L-shaped extension which was formerly the connecting passage between the main barn and the demolished auxiliary barn. Extension has facades of red brick which, where it formerly connected to the auxiliary barn, are partly renewed; extension is covered by corrugated iron; south facade has a non-original mastgutter. In south and north facades and in the northern section a clamped wooden door. In south and east facades a small rectangular four-light window; in the northern part on either side of the door a six-light segmental arch window.
In the INTERIOR of the main house, among other things of importance are: in the hallway the ceilings, decorated with eclectic plasterwork; the walls with marbled wainscoting; fanlight with sandblasted glass depicting a farmer working his fields with a scratch plough.
In the INTERIOR of the barn with eight bays are among other things of importance: the churn house; a dark passage.
In the extension on the east facade of the main barn two water pumps.
