TOEGANGSHEK OP VOORPLEIN.
Vroeg-18de-eeuws smeedijzeren hekwerk dat het voorplein aan de oostzijde afsluit. Het hekwerk is op de kademuur geplaatst en bestaat uit een poort met twee draaibare vleugels. Aan weerszijden van de poort bevindt zich een deels wat inzalend hek. De vleugels en het hek zijn voorzien van spijlen die door een puntige, vergulde knop worden bekroond. De poort wordt bekroond door een verguld, symmetrisch, van voluten voorzien element. Het zwart geschilderde hek vervangt vanaf de eerste decennia van de 18de eeuw een stenen muur.

Description
ENTRANCE GATE ON FORECOURT.
Early 18th-century wrought-iron gate which closes off the forecourt on the east side. The gate is placed on the quay wall and consists of a gate with two hinged wings. On either side of the gate is a partially recessed fence. The wings and fence are fitted with spikes which are crowned by a pointed, gilded knob. The gate is crowned by a gilded, symmetrical element provided with scrolls. The black-painted gate replaces from the first decades of the 18th century a stone wall.
