Omschrijving
BRUG. Over de gracht gelegen 19de-eeuwse vaste, bakstenen brug, die het kasteeleiland verbindt met het vaste land. De brug bestaat uit twee rondbogen waarop het bruggedek ligt. Oorspronkelijk was de brug van vier rondbogen voorzien, die in de 19de eeuw door de huidige twee bogen werden vervangen. Aan weerszijden van de brug bevindt zich een 18de-eeuwse ijzeren leuning bestaande uit slanke gietijzeren balusters waartussen dubbele regels, die aan het einde afbuigen en aan de voorzijde voorzien zijn van een knop.

Description
BRIDGE. A 19th-century fixed brick bridge spanning the moat, connecting the castle island to the mainland. The bridge consists of two round arches on which the bridge deck rests. Originally the bridge was provided with four round arches, which in the 19th century were replaced by the present two arches. On either side of the bridge there is an 18th-century iron railing consisting of slender cast-iron balusters with double rails between them, which curve at the end and are fitted with a knob at the front.
