ZES BUSTES.
Zes zandstenen bustes, waarvan er één is gesigneerd door 'J. de Cock' en is gedateerd met '1700'. De bustes stellen een keizer, keizerin, dame, bacchante, bacchus en een faun voor. De beelden zijn thans geplaatst in de ovale nissen (voormalige bovenlichten), die zich boven de deuren van de beide bouwhuizen bevinden. De bustes maakten onderdeel uit van de formele, vroeg-18de-eeuwse parkaanleg van kasteel Renswoude.

Description
SIX BUSTS.
Six sandstone busts, one of which is signed by 'J. de Cock' and is dated '1700'. The busts represent an emperor, empress, lady, bacchante, bacchus and a faun. The sculptures are currently placed in the oval niches (former fanlights), which are situated above the doors of the two wing buildings. The busts formed part of the formal, early 18th-century park layout of Renswoude castle.
