Inleiding
De combinatie van een OPEN GESCHUTOPSTELLING A60 (25g) met bijbehorende schuil- en bergplaatsen wordt zeer zelden aangetroffen en is aangeduid als een "Sonderkonstruktion". Deze Sonderkonstruktion is een samenstel van een "SK Bettung", een "Munitionsunterstand II" (R 607, een serie die in 1942 is ontworpen) en een "Gruppenunterstand" (R 621), die onderdak kon bieden aan een groep van 10 man. De geschutopstelling bevindt zich in het zuiden van het complex.
Omschrijving
De in gewapend beton uitgevoerde ronde, open geschutopstelling ligt centraal tussen gedeeltelijk onder het duin liggende bunkers en is vanuit die bunkers te bereiken. De bunker aan de rechterkant (noord) bestaat uit twee rechthoekige ruimten die in verbinding staan met twee parallel lopende gangen, die onderling weer verbonden zijn door een dwarsgang. De gang aan de oostkant heeft twee open ingangen, waarvan de linker, onder ijzeren latei, in directe verbinding staat met de geschutopstelling.
In de bunker aan de linkerkant (zuid) bevindt zich de Gruppenunterstand, die bestaat uit een rechthoekige wachtruimte, via een gassluis verbonden met een gang. Deze gang is via twee haaks erop lopende gangen verbonden met een lange gang aan de oostzijde, waarin zich de ingang en een trap naar de geschutopstelling bevinden.
Waardering
Geschutopstelling met schuil- en bergplaatsen van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als representatief restant van de Atlantikwall die de Duitse bezetter in de Tweede Wereldoorlog langs de Nederlands e kust heeft laten aanleggen.

The combination of an OPEN GUN EMPLACEMENT A60 (25g) with associated shelters and storage facilities is very rarely encountered and is designated a "Sonderkonstruktion". Description
The circular, open gun emplacement constructed in reinforced concrete is centrally situated between bunkers partially located beneath the dune and is accessible from those bunkers. The bunker on the right side (north) consists of two rectangular rooms connected to two parallel corridors, which are themselves connected by a transverse corridor. The corridor on the east side has two open entrances, the left one, under an iron lintel, in direct connection with the gun emplacement.
In the bunker on the left side (south) is the Gruppenunterstand, which consists of a rectangular guard room, connected via a gas lock with a corridor.
