De OPEN GESCHUTOPSTELLING A59 (25x) ligt naast de Sonderkonstruktion aan de noordkant. Deze in beton uitgevoerde ronde geschutopstelling is nog maar gedeeltelijk aanwezig.

De open geschutopstelling is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang:
- als representatief restant van de Atlantikwall die de Duitse bezetter in de Tweede Wereldoorlog langs de Nederlandse kust heeft laten aanleggen.
