Inleiding
Voormalige PAARDENSTAL, gebouwd in 1925 en vergroot in 1927. Zowel het oorspronkelijke ontwerp als de verbouwing zijn van de hand van Th. Rueter. De voormalige paardenstal is gesitueerd aan de noordzijde en door middel van muurwerk met poort verbonden met de oostgevel van het landhuis.
Omschrijving
Voormalige paardenstal op vrijwel rechthoekige plattegrond met verspringingen aan de noordzijde en bestaande uit een bouwlaag onder samengestelde rieten kap, een afgeknot schilddak met rietgedekte lantaarn op de nok aan de oostzijde en een zadeldak aan de westzijde met de noklijn haaks op de weg. De gevels zijn opgetrokken in rode baksteen op uitgemetselde plint en houten gepotdekselde delen. In het muurwerk is een getand motief gemetseld. De oostgevel bevat op de begane grond in het midden een tweedelige houten deur, het tien-ruitsbovenlicht bevindt zich in het gepotdekselde gedeelte. Geheel rechts bevindt zich nog een deur met links daarvan een waterbak op gemetselde voet. Op de zolder is een smalle vensterreeks tussen hooideuren geplaatst.
De zuidgevel bevat aan de linkerzijde een driedelige roldeur met acht-ruitslichten, verdiept gelegen achter balk op gesneden schoren. De dakrand welft over het acht-ruitsbovenlicht boven een tweedelige houten deur. Het tweedelige vier-ruitsvenster aan de rechterzijde bevindt zich in het gepotdekselde geveldeel waarvoor een waterbak op gemetselde voet is geplaatst.
De noordgevel bevat links een gepotdekseld geveldeel, doorlopend in een schutting op bakstenen voet en afgeronde hoek. In het terugliggende geveldeel onder dakoverstek op gesneden schoren, zijn links twee vensters met vier-ruitsdraairamen geplaatst. Een boogvormige dakkapel is in het dakvlak opgenomen. De westgevel bevat in het terugliggende geveldeel aan de linkerzijde een ovalen venster met glas-in-loodraam waarboven het dak welft. De topgevel van het naar voren komende rechter geveldeel bestaat uit gepotdekselde delen en kraagt iets uit op gesneden consoles. Op de begane grond bevindt zich een ovalen venster met glas-in-loodraam. De houten poort heeft een uitsnijding in bloemmotief.
Waardering
De voormalige paardenstal is van algemeen belang uit cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch oogpunt als gaaf bewaard gebleven voorbeeld van een voormalige paardenstal in de Gooise landhuisstijl, ontworpen en verbouwd door Th. Former horse stable on an approximately rectangular plan with recesses on the north side and consisting of one storey under a composite thatched roof, a truncated hipped roof with thatched lantern on the ridge on the east side and a gabled roof on the west side with the ridge line perpendicular to the road. The facades are constructed in red brick on a rendered plinth and timber-clad parts. A toothed motif is laid in the masonry. The east facade contains in the centre on the ground floor a two-part wooden door, the ten-pane fanlight is located in the timber-clad section. At the far right there is another door with a water tank on a rendered base to its left. On the loft is a narrow series of windows placed between hay doors.
The south facade contains on the left side a three-part rolling door with eight-pane lights, recessed behind a beam on cut braces. The roof edge curves over the eight-pane fanlight above a two-part wooden door. The two-part four-pane window on the right side is located in the timber-clad facade section for which a water tank on a rendered base is placed.
The north facade contains on the left a timber-clad facade section, continuing in a fence on a brick base with rounded corner. In the recessed facade section under a roof overhang on cut braces, two windows with four-pane casement windows are placed on the left. An arched roof dormer is incorporated in the roof plane. The west facade contains in the recessed facade section on the left side an oval window with leaded glass above which the roof curves. The gabled top of the projecting right facade section consists of timber-clad parts and projects slightly on cut consoles. On the ground floor there is an oval window with leaded glass. The wooden gate has a cut-out in a flower motif.
Valuation
The former horse stable is of general importance from a cultural and architectural-historical point of view as a well-preserved example of a former horse stable in the Gooise country house style, designed and renovated by Th. Rueter, from the first half of the 20th century and as a component of the complex "Eemnesserweg 37".
