Inleiding:
SPOORWEGSTATION uit 1872 van Mill. Het station is gebouwd door de Noord-Brabantsch-DuitscheSpoorweg-Maatschappij (NBDS). In de gemeenten Haps, Oeffelt enSchijndel werden in die tijd, dezelfde stations gebouwd. In 1919 neemt het staatsspoor de lijn over. In 1922 gaat de NBDS failliet. Het spoorwegstation lag in het traject Wesel(West-Duitsland)-Vlissingen. Alle koninklijke treinen en overigens alle internationale treinen stopten in Mill. Het reizigersverkeer stopte in 1950. Het goederen vervoer tot 1972. Het tracé, dat nog duidelijk herkenbaar is in de structuur van Mill, loopt dwars door de kern. De spoorlijn zelf is verwijderd. Het station wordt nu gebruikt als jongerencentrum"de Wissel".
Omschrijving:
Het eenlaagse station heeft een T-vormige plattegrond. Zadeldaken met overstek, houten windveren en topgevelbekleding ondersteund door gebogen en geprofileerde korbeelhouten. Opgaand werk bestaat uit gepleisterde baksteen met horizontale banden en stuclijsten bij de vensters. De getoogde muuropeningen voorzien van achtruits vensters en deuren. In de noord-oostkant van de voorgevel drie smeedijzeren ringen voor het vastzetten van paarden. Interieur is geheel gewijzigd.
Waardering:
Het spoorwegstation is van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuurhistorische waarde als het laatste gaaf bewaarde stationsgebouw aan de voormalige spoorlijn Wesel-Vlissingen en als voorbeeld van de typologische ontwikkeling van het spoorwegstation aan deze lijn. Het heeft ensemblewaarde vanwege de samenhang met de spoorlijn welke als tracé, in het landschap nog steeds herkenbaar is en ontleent een meerwaarde aan de oorlogshandelingen rondom deze spoorlijn in mei 1940. Het exterieur is in hoge mate gaaf bewaard gebleven en het bouwtype is zeldzaam.

RAILWAY STATION from 1872 at Mill. The station was built by the Noord-Brabantsch-Duitsche Spoorweg-Maatschappij (NBDS). Description:
The single-storey station has a T-shaped floor plan. Saddle roofs with overhang, wooden wind braces and gable cladding supported by curved and moulded basket-arch brackets. The structure consists of rendered brick with horizontal bands and stucco mouldings at the windows. The arched wall openings are fitted with eight-pane windows and doors. On the north-east side of the front facade three wrought-iron rings for tying up horses. The interior has been completely altered.
Valuation:
The railway station is of general importance because of its cultural-historical value as the last well-preserved station building on the former railway line Wesel-Vlissingen and as an example of the typological development of the railway station on this line. It has ensemble value because of its relationship with the railway line which as a route is still recognisable in the landscape and gains added value from the military operations around this railway line in May 1940. The exterior has been preserved in a high degree of integrity and the building type is rare.
