Inleiding
Op het landgoed Anderstein ligt in het park een openluchtzwembad met een kleedhokje, aangelegd in 1926 in opdracht van de familie Van Beuningen. Het landgoed Anderstein bestaat thans uit een in een golfbaan gewijzigde aanleg met een tuin, een villa van J. Stuivinga (1913), een tot clubgebouw gewijzigd stalgebouw, een boerderij en een koetshuis.
Omschrijving
Achter de villa gelegen ZWEMBAD met KLEEDHOKJE, aangelegd in 1926. De betonnen bak van het zwembad meet ongeveer vijftien bij zes meter en heeft twee verschillende dieptes. Aan de korte noordzijde van het zwembad is een gebogen opstand geplaatst die is versierd met in cement geplaatste kleine zwerfkeien. In het midden is een hardstenen plaat gemetseld met een gedicht en het jaartal 1926. De opstand dient ter ondersteuning van een houten springplank, die bevestigd is aan een ijzeren trap. Achter de opstand bevinden zich putten ten behoeve van een waterpomp.
Aan de westzijde van het zwembad staat een houten kleedhokje van één bouwlaag op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder een overstekend plat dak. De gevels zijn opgetrokken uit houten rabatdelen. Met uitzondering van de achtergevel zijn alle gevels voorzien van tweelichts klepramen. Aan de zijde van het zwembad zijn schuifdeuren aangebracht. Het interieur bestaat uit twee kleedruimtes.
Waardering
Het zwembad met kleedhokje zijn van cultuurhistorische waarde als vroeg voorbeeld van een privé-zwembad. Het is voorts van architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege het bouwtype en het materiaalgebruik. Het is van ensemblewaarde vanwege de ligging binnen het landgoed Anderstein.

Description
SWIMMING POOL with CHANGING HUT located behind the villa, constructed in 1926. The concrete basin of the swimming pool measures approximately fifteen by six metres and has two different depths. On the short north side of the swimming pool, a curved wall has been installed, which is decorated with small boulders set in cement. In the middle, a sandstone plate has been mortared with a poem and the year 1926. The wall serves to support a wooden diving board, which is attached to an iron ladder. Behind the wall are pits for a water pump.
On the west side of the swimming pool stands a wooden changing hut of one storey on a rectangular ground plan under an overhanging flat roof. The facades are built from wooden interlocking planks. With the exception of the rear facade, all facades are fitted with two-light hinged windows. On the side of the swimming pool, sliding doors have been installed. The interior consists of two changing rooms.
