Vijf traveëen breed woonhuis met verdieping onder een schilddak met geglazuurde Hollandse pannen. In de gepleisterde gevel met schijnvoegen worden begane grond en verdieping gescheiden door lijstwerk dat bestaat uit cordonlijsten met een fries. De gootlijst is uitgevoerd als getimmerde profiellijst. De gevelcompsitie wordt door hoeklisenen en een middenrisaliet bepaald. De linker hoekrisaliet wordt gedeeld met het buurpand Kornputsingel 1. In de middenrisaliet is de ingang met bovenlicht geplaatst onder een houten balkon op gietijzeren consoles. De vensters zijn in getoogde muuropeningen geplaatst, op de verdieping met zesruits-schuifvensters. In de rechtse travee is op de begane grond een extra ingang gemaakt. De rechter zijgevel is ongepleisterd. Het interieur van het pand, dat één geheel vormt met Kornputsingel 1, is gewijzigd.
Waardering
Karakteristieke laat-19e-eeuwse gevel, samen met Kornputsingel 1 van belang als stedebouwkundig element aan de entree van de Kornputsingel; tevens van belang als één van de laatste resten van de gesloten gevelwand die de pendant vormde van die aan de overzijde.

Description
Five bays wide dwelling house with storey under a hipped roof with glazed Dutch tiles. In the plastered gable with false ashlar joints the ground floor and first floor are separated by moulding consisting of string courses with a frieze. The gutter moulding is executed as a timber profile moulding. The gable composition is determined by corner pilasters and a central projection. The left corner projection is shared with the neighbouring building Kornputsingel 1. In the central projection is the entrance with fanlight placed under a wooden balcony on cast iron consoles. The windows are placed in arched wall openings, on the first floor with six-pane sash windows. In the right bay an extra entrance has been made on the ground floor. The right side elevation is unplastered. The interior of the building, which forms one whole with Kornputsingel 1, has been altered.
Evaluation
Characteristic late 19th-century gable, together with Kornputsingel 1 of importance as an urban design element at the entrance to the Kornputsingel; also of importance as one of the last remains of the closed gable wall which formed the counterpart to that on the opposite side.
