Omschrijving Vijf traveëen breed woonhuis met verdieping onder een schilddak met Hollandse pannen. In de gepleisterde gevel met schijnvoegen worden begane grond en verdieping gescheiden door lijstwerk dat bestaat uit cordonlijsten met een fries. De gootlijst is uitgevoerd als getimmerde profiellijst. De gevelcompsitie wordt door hoeklisenen en een middenrisaliet bepaald. De rechter hoekrisaliet wordt gedeeld met het buurpand Kornputsingel 3. In de middenrisaliet is de ingang met bovenlicht geplaatst onder een houten balkon op gietijzeren consoles. De vensters zijn in getoogde muuropeningen geplaatst, op de verdieping met zesruits-schuifvensters. Het interieur van het pand, dat één geheel vormt met Kornputsingel 3, is gewijzigd.

Description
Description Five-bay-wide residential building with one storey under a hipped roof with Dutch tiles. In the plastered facade with false joints, ground floor and first floor are separated by moulding consisting of cornice belts with a frieze. The gutter moulding is executed as a carpentry profile moulding. The facade composition is determined by corner pilasters and a central projection. The right corner projection is shared with the neighbouring property Kornputsingel 3. In the central projection the entrance with fanlight is placed under a wooden balcony on cast-iron corbels. The windows are placed in arched wall openings, on the first floor with six-pane sash windows. The interior of the property, which forms one unit with Kornputsingel 3, has been altered.
Valuation
Characteristic late 19th-century facade, together with Kornputsingel 3 of importance as an urban planning element at the entrance to the Kornputsingel; also of importance as one of the last remains of the closed facade wall which formed the pendant to that on the opposite side.
