Omschrijving
SLUISMEESTERSVERBLIJF, behorende tot de in 1877 aangelegde Reitdiepssluizen en gebouwd in diezelfde tijd. Het gebouw is thans in gebruik als havenkantoor. Onderkelderd verdiepingsloos gebouw, opgetrokken op rechthoekige plattegrond in rode Groninger steen en gedekt door een gebogen dak tussen topgevels met trappen met natuurstenen afdekking; in de toppen gietijzeren roosvensters en smeedijzeren sierankers. De gevels uitgerust met opgeklampte deur met bovenlicht en schuiframen met vierruits beneden- en drieruits bovenlicht; alle getoogd en met hanenkammen.

LOCKMASTER'S RESIDENCE, belonging to the Reitdiepssluizen laid out in 1877 and built at the same time. The building is now in use as a harbour office. Cellar-level single-storey building, constructed on a rectangular plan in red Groninger stone and covered by a curved roof between stepped gables with steps with natural stone coping; in the gable-tops cast-iron louvre vents and wrought-iron ornamental wall anchors. The gables equipped with fixed door with fanlight and sash windows with four-pane lower and three-pane upper lights; all arched and with cock's combs.
