Omschrijving
Twee midden 18de eeuwse gesmede hekpijlers en dorpel van Bentheimerzandsteen alsmede roodbakstenen dam.
Hekpijlers samengesteld uit rococo-krullen en bekroond door vlampotten. Op grond van vormverwantschap met de gebeeldhouwde opzetstukken van de banken in de kerk van Hogebeintum kunnen de hekpijlers omstreeks 1762 zijn ontstaan.
Waardering
Hekposten, dorpel en dam van algemeen belang:
- vanweg de ouderom van dam en hekposten;
- vanwege materiaalgebruik en vormgeving;
- vanwege de vormverwantschap van de hekposten met interieuronderdelen in de beschermde Hervormde kerk van Hogebeintum (monumentnummer 15628);
- als karakteristiek markeringspunt van de directe toegang tot Harstastate;

Two mid-18th century wrought-iron gate piers and threshold of Bentheim sandstone as well as red-brick dam.
Gate piers composed of rococo scrolls and crowned by flame finials. On the basis of formal affinity with the sculptured finials of the benches in the church of Hogebeintum, the gate piers may date from around 1762.

Gate posts, threshold and dam of general importance:
- on account of the age of dam and gate posts;
- on account of material use and design;
- on account of the formal affinity of the gate posts with interior components in the protected Reformed church of Hogebeintum (monument number 15628);
- as a characteristic marking point of the direct access to Harstastate;
