Inleiding
Houten chalet, rond 1905 gebouwd in chaletstijl. Het ontwerp en het bouwmateriaal zijn afkomstig uit Noorwegen. Gelegen in het duingebied.
Omschrijving
Het chalet is opgebouwd uit een houten bovenbouw en een bakstenen onderbouw (souterrain). Het bestaat uit een naar voren springend gedeelte met een souterrain, één bouwlaag en een kap en dwars daarachter een gedeelte met souterrain en twee bouwlagen met kap.
De houten wanden zijn voornamelijk opgebouwd uit horizontale, bruin geschilderde planken; de daken zijn voorzien van overstekken. Het souterrain bezit afgeronde vensters, die oorspronkelijk open waren. De voorgevel (noord) heeft in het midden een houten trap naar de veranda op de begane grond. De veranda bevindt zich onder het zadeldak en is aan de voor- en zijkanten open en wordt ondersteund door balusterachtige pilaren; houtsnijwerk in hekpijlers boven aan de trap. In het midden een dubbele terrasdeur met aan weerszijden een nieuw aangebracht, niet origineel venster.
De oostelijke zijgevel bezit rechts een langsgevel en links een aankapte, asymmetrische topgevel. In deze gevel enkele vernieuwde vensters en een trap naar de zijdeur op de begane grond.
De achterzijde met overkragende verdieping en vernieuwde en nieuwe vensters. Hier bevindt zich tevens een niet-originele terrasaanbouw. De rechter zijgevel (west) bevat rechts een topgevel met overkragende verdieping met balusterachtige hoekpilaren. Links een terugspringend deel met langsgevel. Vernieuwde vensters.
De zadeldaken en de aankapping zijn gedekt met rode holle pannen.
In het interieur onder meer originele binnendeuren, voorkamer onder de kap, trap met trappalen.
