Omschrijving
DUBBELE WONING met een samengestelde plattegrond, over één bouwlaag op een zandstenen plint, opgetrokken in rode machinale baksteen. Het kruisvormige zadeldak is gedekt met rode Friese pannen en steekt boven de eindgevels iets over. De steekkappen hebben wolfeinden. Het huis is rondom voorzien van speklagen. De vensters bevinden zich onder een segmentboog van sierstenen. Zij hebben een roedenverdeling en luiken in de kleuren van Weldam.
De symmetrische voorgevel (W) heeft in het midden een deur met bovenlicht, geflankeerd door twee vierentwintigruits vensters. Daarboven zitten twee zesruits vensters, in de top van de gevel staat in witte letters de naam RAES X FELT.
De achtergevel (O) heeft op de begane grond dezelfde indeling als de voorgevel. Op de zolderverdieping heeft deze gevel echter een dubbel venster (2x6 ruits). Op een band van lichtere steen staat in witte letters de naam RAES X FELT. De beide zijgevels zijn vrijwel identiek; de buitenste traveeën hebben twee smalle achtruits vensters. De middelste travee ligt iets terug, loopt hoog op en heeft in de noordelijke zijgevel twee vierentwintigruits vensters en een twaalfruits venster op de verdieping. De zuidelijke zijgevel daarentegen, heeft in het midden twee deuren met bovenlicht en twee zestienruits vensters zonder luiken aan weerszijden daarvan. Daarboven, net als aan de ander gevelzijde een twaalfruits venster.

Dubbele woning van cultuur-, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang:
- vanwege de functionele en ruimtelijke relatie met Weldam

DOUBLE DWELLING with a composite floor plan, over a single storey on a sandstone plinth, built in red machine-made brickwork. The cross-shaped gabled roof is clad with red Frisian tiles and projects slightly above the gable ends. The roof trusses have half-hipped ends. The house is provided with decorative brick bands all around. The windows are situated beneath a segmental arch of decorative bricks. They have glazing bars and shutters in the colours of Weldam.
The symmetrical front facade (W) has in the centre a door with fanlight, flanked by two twenty-four-pane windows. Above these are two six-pane windows, and in the gable apex the name RAES X FELT stands in white letters.
The rear facade (E) has on the ground floor the same layout as the front facade. On the attic storey this facade, however, has a double window (2x6 panes). On a band of lighter stone the name RAES X FELT is inscribed in white letters. Both side facades are virtually identical; the outer bays have two narrow four-pane windows. The middle bay is set back slightly, rises steeply and has in the northern side facade two twenty-four-pane windows and a twelve-pane window on the upper storey. The southern side facade, by contrast, has in the centre two doors with fanlight and two sixteen-pane windows without shutters on either side. Above, as on the other facade side, a twelve-pane window.
