STATION BUILDING, standard type 'large', with attached GOODS SHED, built by the Geldersche Overijsselsche Lokaal Spoorwegmaatschappij. (G.O.L.S.) The building was constructed in three phases. When the railway came into use in 1885 it was a symmetrical building three bays wide with tall projecting centre risalits under jerkinheads on the north and south facades. In 1899 the building was extended on the west side with a low addition for the third-class waiting room. The storey on this wing dates from 1915. In the long facades (N and S) of the goods shed on each side four double doors under segmental arches, above the double door in the end facade (E) a circular window in the gable head.
