Inleiding
BOERDERIJ VAN HET HALLEHUISTYPE "Reefman" uit 1864 die behoort bij het Huis Almelo. Voor de voorgevel (W) van de boerderij langs de Bolshoeksweg staat een rij hoge bomen. Op het erf, dat recentelijk opnieuw is bestraat, staan rond de boerderij drie schuren die bijdragen aan de kwaliteit van het erf maar als objecten voor de bescherming van ondergeschikt belang zijn. Aan de noordzijde van de boerderij staan enkele fruitbomen.
Omschrijving Boerderij van het hallehuistype onder wolfdak met uileborden dat deels met riet en deels met rode Hollandse pannen is gedekt. De gevels zijn boven een plint van Bentheimer steen opgetrokken in roodbruine baksteen. In de voorgevel een deur met bovenlicht en twee schuifvensters met roedenverdeling tussen kleinere vensters met bovenlicht. Op de voor Huis Almelo karakteristieke gevelsteen met kroon het jaartal 1864. In de zijgevels van het woonhuisgedeelte kleine vierruits vensters. De keuken is aan de rechter zijgevel (Z) iets opgehoogd en voorzien van een nieuwe deur en vensters. De zijgevels van het bedrijfsgedeelte zijn voorzien van staldeuren en getoogde stalvensters met sierroedenverdeling. In de achtergevel een centrale baander onder segmentboog tussen zesruits stalvensters onder rondbogen en recht gesloten staldeuren.

FARM OF THE HALL-HOUSE TYPE "Reefman" from 1864 which belongs to Huis Almelo. In front of the front facade (W) of the farm along the Bolshoeksweg stands a row of tall trees. On the farmyard, which has recently been repaved, three barns stand around the farm which contribute to the quality of the farmyard but are of subordinate importance as objects for protection. Description Farm of the hall-house type under a half-hipped roof with owl-boards which is partly covered with thatch and partly with red Dutch tiles. The facades are constructed above a plinth of Bentheimer stone in reddish-brown brick. In the front facade a door with fanlight and two sash windows with glazing bars between smaller windows with fanlight. On the facade stone characteristic for Huis Almelo with crown the date 1864. In the side facades of the dwelling section small four-pane windows. The kitchen is slightly raised on the right side facade (S) and provided with a new door and windows. The side facades of the business section are provided with stable doors and arched stable windows with ornamental glazing bars. In the rear facade a central brickwork under segmental arch between six-pane stable windows under round arches and right-angled stable doors.
