Omschrijving
De AULA is in rode baksteen opgetrokken over één bouwlaag op een achthoekige plattegrond onder een overstekend rietgedekt tentdak. In de voorgevel (N) bevindt zich de houten paneeldeur tussen twee steunberen en onder siermetselwerk. In de achtergevel (Z) risaleert de schoorsteen, die door het dak steekt. In de schuingeplaatste muren zijn twee verticale vensters geplaatst, in de zijgevels (O en W) vier kleine vensters en in de achtergevel de schoorsteen met twee verticale vensters. Alle vensters zijn geplaatst boven gemetselde waterdorpels en voorzien van glas-in-lood onder siermetselverbanden. Onder de vier kleine vensters staan de oorspronkelijke witgeverfde houten banken, in de aula zijn onder meer nog bewaard de witgeverfde houten stoelen en tafel in Amsterdamse School bouwstijl, de betegelde schouw en de groen geglazuurde vloertegels.

De aula is van cultuur-, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege:
- de ruimtelijke en functionele samenhang met de overige onderdelen van de begraafplaats
- de Amsterdamse School bouwstijl
- de beeldbepalende ligging bij de entree in de hoofdas van de begraafplaats

Description
The AULA is constructed in red brick over one storey on an octagonal plan under an overhanging thatched tent roof. In the front facade (N) is the wooden panel door between two buttresses and under decorative brickwork. In the rear facade (S) the chimney projects, passing through the roof. In the sloped walls two vertical windows are placed, in the side facades (E and W) four small windows and in the rear facade the chimney with two vertical windows. All windows are placed above mortared drip mouldings and fitted with leaded glass under decorative brick bonds. Below the four small windows stand the original whitewashed wooden benches, in the aula are among others preserved the whitewashed wooden chairs and table in Amsterdam School building style, the tiled fireplace and the green glazed floor tiles.
