Omschrijving bij onderdeel 15:
ZOLENSCHRAPERS VOORPLEIN behorende tot de buitenplaats Twickel. Aan weerszijden van de toegangsbrug naar het kasteel staat een 19de-eeuwse gietijzeren zolenschraper op een voetplaat van Bentheimer zandsteen. Op voethoogte twee uitstekende spijlen die aan de onderkant met krulwerk versierd zijn. Aan de bovenkant eindigt de zolenschraper in een gietijzeren ronde ring. Het gietijzer heeft een zwarte verflaag.

SOLE SCRAPERS FRONT COURTYARD belonging to the country estate Twickel. On either side of the access bridge to the castle stands a 19th-century cast-iron sole scraper on a base of Bentheim sandstone. At foot level two projecting bars which are ornamented with scrollwork at the bottom. At the top the sole scraper terminates in a cast-iron round ring. The cast iron is painted black.
