Inleiding
Boerderij gebouwd in ambachtelijk-traditionele stijl volgens het hallehuistype met dwarsdeel. De oorspronkelijke boerderij dateert waarschijnlijk van rond 1800 maar heeft aan het eind van de negentiende eeuw het huidige uiterlijk gekregen. Enkele wijzigingen zijn nadien nog uitgevoerd. De erfsituatie bestaat uit een kei- en klinkerbestrating, een tot melklokaal vergroot stookhok, een na-oorlogse in potdekselwerk uitgevoerde machineberging en een eveneens na-oorlogse rietgedekte schuur. De bescherming beperkt zich tot het hoofdgebouw: de boerderij.
Omschrijving
Boerderij in baksteen opgetrokken en gedekt door een rietdak met achterschild; stroonok. De asymmetrische topgevel met vlechting en topschoorsteen is voorzien van een gepleisterde plint, drie rechtgesloten zesruitsschuifvensters met luiken en een opgeklampte deur met tweeruits bovenlicht. Allen met hanekam. In de topgevel twee later ingebrachte rechtgesloten vensters. Zuidelijke zijgevel met onder meer sporen (rollaag) van een keldervenster alsmede twee kleine opkamervensters. De noordelijke schuurgevel voorzien van getoogde gietijzeren stalvensters in een afwisselend ritme met mestdeuren; laatste gedeelte springt terug en is voorzien van potdekselwerk en houten deuren. Achtergevel in metselwerk en voorzien van vijf halfronde gietijzeren stalvensters. Zuidelijke zijgevel met onder meer twee diepliggende baanderdeuren waarvan de grootste is voorzien van twee diagonaal geplaatste vierruits vensters en een loopdeur; mestdeuren en stalvensters. Achterste hoek ligt terug en is voorzien van een dubbele wagendeur.

Boerderij van cultuurhistorisch, architectuurhistorisch en stedebouwkundig belang vanwege de relatie ten opzichte van de voormalige havezathe Rheebruggen, de vormgeving en het materiaalgebruik alsmede vanwege de ligging in het waardevol gezicht Rheebruggen.

Farmhouse built in traditional craft style according to the hall-house type with transverse section. The original farmhouse probably dates from around 1800 but acquired its present appearance at the end of the nineteenth century. Some modifications were carried out afterwards. The farmyard situation consists of stone and brick paving, a heating house enlarged into a milk room, a post-war machine shed constructed in pot-tile work and also a post-war reed-thatched barn. The protection is limited to the main building: the farmhouse.

Farmhouse built in brick and covered by a thatched roof with back slope; straw overhang. The asymmetrical gable with lattice work and gable chimney is provided with a plastered plinth, three straight-edged six-pane sash windows with shutters and a clamped door with two-pane fanlight. All with cock's comb. In the gable two later inserted straight-edged windows. Southern side gable with among others traces (roller layer) of a cellar window as well as two small upper-room windows. The northern barn gable furnished with segmental arch cast-iron stable windows in an alternating rhythm with manure doors; last section steps back and is furnished with pot-tile work and wooden doors. Rear gable in brickwork and furnished with five semicircular cast-iron stable windows. Southern side gable with among others two recessed aisle doors of which the largest is provided with two diagonally placed four-pane windows and a passage door; manure doors and stable windows. Rear corner steps back and is provided with a double cart door.

Farmhouse of cultural-historical, architectural-historical and urban design importance because of the relationship to the former fortified manor Rheebruggen, the form and material use as well as because of its location in the valuable prospect Rheebruggen.
