Inleiding:
In 1825 in Willem II-Gotiek gebouwde VILLA Jacoba, ingeschreven in het kadaster 1854. De villa is fraai gesitueerd in een parkachtige tuin.
Omschrijving:
De villa heeft een in lengterichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond, telt vier bouwlagen en een souterrainverdieping en wordt afgedekt met een schilddak met kruispannen en bekroond met zinken nokpionnen.
De beide entrees bevinden zich aan de voorzijde (oostzijde), naar drie gewelfde hallen. De toegangsdeuren zijn rondboogvormig. Overig rechthoekige houten deuren en ramen.
In de rechter zijgevel bevindt zich de torenachtige uitbouw, deze telt zeven bouwlagen en wordt afgedekt met een plat zinken dak en bekroond met kantelen. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is mergel en eikenhout. Het schilddak heeft aan vier zijden dakoverstek en is voorzien van zinken bekleding. In het souterrain/kelder bevindt zich een waterput gebouwd van mergelsteen. Het souterrain is voorzien van een rondboogvormig gemetseld raam met twee rechthoekige ramen en twee koekoek kelderramen met vierkante klapramen. Naast de buiteningang van de kelder is nog een waterput aanwezig en rechts naast de toren nog een beerput. Aan de linker zijgevel (zuidzijde) een uitbouw in een bouwlaag met hierop een groot terras met gietijzeren balustrade, voorzien van vier gegoten ijzeren sierpotten op de lange zijde op vier balusters.
Onder de eerste verdieping zijn alle ramen en deuren boogvormig gemetseld met boogvormige deuren en ramen, onder het terras spitsboogvormige ramen, allen voorzien van smeedijzeren tralies.
Alleen in de rechter zijgevel (oostzijde) is de buitendeur in de tussenverdieping, met daarnaast een raam en de tuinmans-wc-deur in de toren, rechthoekig. In de toren zijn het dubbele raam en een enkel raam, bij de wc rondboogvormig gemetseld met idem raam, daarboven drie verdiepingen met ezelsrugboogvormig gemetselde met rondboogvormige ramen, daarboven twee klaverbladvormig (vier) gemetselde met vierkante ramen en daarboven twee ramen rondboogvormig gemetseld met rechthoekige ramen.
Hardstenen dorpelstenen.

De villa JACOBA is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een typologische ontwikkeling. Below the first floor all windows and doors are arch-masoned with arch-shaped doors and windows, below the terrace pointed-arch-shaped windows, all provided with wrought-iron grilles.
Only in the right side facade (east side) is the outside door in the mezzanine, with next to it a window and the gardener's toilet door in the tower, rectangular.
