Inleiding
In een traditionele bouwstijl in 1933 naar een ontwerp van de architecten F.P.J. Peutz en W. Sprenger gebouwd BAARHUISJE.
Het baarhuisje is tegenover de hoofdingang van de Sint Monulphus en Gondulphus kerk gesitueerd, op het plaatselijk kerkhof.
De aanbouw aan de achtergevel is uitgesloten van bescherming.
Omschrijving
Het baarhuisje heeft een rechthoekige plattegrond, telt een bouwlaag en wordt afgedekt met een leien zadeldak. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is mergel en Kunradersteen. Toegangsdeur van recentere datum met rondboogvormig bovenlicht met glas-in-lood.
De aanbouw aan de achtergevel van het baarhuisje is van recenter datum.
Waardering
Het baarhuisje is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een geestelijke ontwikkeling. Het baarhuisje bezit in beperkte mate architectuurhistorische waarde wegens het belang voor het oeuvre van de architecten F.P.J. Peutz en W. Sprenger en de toepassing van mergel en Kunradersteen als bouwmateriaal.
