Inleiding
In een traditionele bouwstijl in 1933 naar een ontwerp van de architecten F.P.J. Peutz en W. Sprenger gebouwde PASTORIE. De pastorie is via de sacristie verbonden met de kerk. In dit verbindingsgedeelte bevindt zich de dagkapel met hierboven een parochiezaal.
Omschrijving:
De pastorie heeft een in lengterichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond, telt twee bouwlagen en wordt afgedekt met een tentdak met leien in Maasdekking. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is mergel en Kunradersteen. Symmetrische indeling frontgevel. Vierkant gebouw. Plint in Kunradersteen. Optrek in mergel. Rechthoekige houten vensters en deur. Enkele glas-in-lood bovenlichten. Indeling INTERIEUR redelijk intact, overigens niet beschermenswaardig.
Waardering:
De pastorie is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een geestelijke ontwikkeling. De pastorie bezit architectuurhistorische waarde wegens het belang voor het oeuvre van de architecten F.P.J. Peutz en W. Sprenger en de toepassing van mergel als bouwmateriaal. Ensemblewaarde ontleent de pastorie aan de situering in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van- en verbonden met de Sint Monulphus en Gondulphuskerk van Berg en Terblijt, en daarmee van belang voor het aanzien van deze plaats. Some glass-in-lead fanlights. Interior layout reasonably intact, otherwise not worthy of protection.
