Inleiding
In een traditionele bouwstijl in 1933 naar een ontwerp van de architecten F.P.J. Peutz en W. Sprenger gebouwde KAPELANIE.
De kapelanie is vrijstaand gesitueerd.
De bijbouw van een garage is uitgesloten van bescherming.
Omschrijving:
De kapelanie heeft een in de lengterichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond telt één deels twee bouwlagen en wordt afgedekt met een lessenaarsdak en een tentdak met leien in Maasdekking. Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is mergel en Kunradersteen. Asymmetrische indeling frontgevel. Uitbouw aan rechterzijgevel in een bouwlaag met lessenaarsdak. In dit geveldeel de entree met een rondboogvormige houten deur.
Plint in Kunradersteen, optrek in mergel. Rechthoekige houten vensters deels met glas-in-lood bovenlichten.
Indeling INTERIEUR redelijk intact, overigens niet beschermenswaardig.
Waardering:
De kapelanie is van cultuurhistorische waarde als bijzondere uitdrukking van een geestelijke ontwikkeling. De kapelanie bezit architectuurhistorische waarde wegens het belang voor het oeuvre van de architecten F.P.J. Peutz en W. Sprenger en de toepassing van mergel als bouwmateriaal. Ensemblewaarde ontleent de kapelanie aan de situering in de onmiddellijke nabijheid van de Sint Monulphus en Gondulphuskerk van Berg en Terblijt, en daarmee van belang voor het aanzien van deze plaats. De kapelanie is tenslotte van algemeen belang wegens de architectonische gaafheid van het exterieur en de architectuurhistorische en typologische zeldzaamheid.

The chaplaincy has a rectangular floor plan placed in the longitudinal direction, comprises one to two storeys and is covered with a lean-to roof and a tent roof with slates in Maas covering. The building material used is marl and Kunradersteen. Asymmetrical layout of front facade. Extension on the right side facade in one storey with lean-to roof. In this gable section the entrance with a round-arched wooden door.
Plinth in Kunradersteen, walls in marl. Rectangular wooden windows partly with glass-in-lead fanlights.
Interior layout reasonably intact, otherwise not worthy of protection.
