Inleiding
In een traditionele bouwtrant in 1929 naar een ontwerp van de afdeling Openbare Werken te Heerlen gebouwde DIENSTWONING voor de machinist van het waterstation.
Op het terrein waar de dienstwoning is gesitueerd bevinden zich tevens een waterstation en drie pompgebouwen.
Omschrijving
De dienstwoning heeft een in dwarsrichting geplaatste rechthoekige plattegrond, telt een bouwlaag en wordt afgedekt met een zadeldak met rode Hollandse pannen. Een dakkapel.
Het toegepaste bouwmateriaal is baksteen in kruisverband en Kunradersteen.
Rechthoekige houten vensters, rechthoekige houten deur van recentere datum.
Woonhuis met natuurstenen plint en optrek in traditionele baksteenbouw. Metselwerk in kruisverband. Vlechtingen als muurafdekking. Frontgevel met dakoverstek. Linkerdeel frontgevel iets vooruitspringend.
