Omschrijving
TOEGANGSHEKKEN MET HEKPIJLERS.
Twee identieke hekken, gelegen aan de westzijde van het voorplein aan de Vecht, geven toegang tot de buitenplaats Queekhoven; op een dam met uitzwenkende bakstenen keermuren met natuurstenen beëindiging staan twee hardstenen pijlers op voet met vierkante grondslag, gedekt door een geprofileerde dekplaat. Op de dekplaat een natuurstenen, mogelijk laat 17de-eeuwse, vaas met deksel. Tussen de pijlers twee smeedijzeren draaibare vleugels waarin de woorden QUEEK en HOVEN. Centraal in de vleugels een smeedijzeren versiering met krul- en bladvormige ornamenten en aan de buitenzijde van de pijlers een smeedijzeren voluut.

Description
ACCESS GATES WITH GATE PIERS.
Two identical gates, located on the west side of the forecourt on the Vecht, provide access to the country estate Queekhoven; on a dyke with projecting brick retaining walls with natural stone termination stand two stone piers on bases with square ground plan, topped by a moulded cap plate. On the cap plate a natural stone, possibly late 17th-century, vase with cover. Between the piers two wrought-iron swinging leaves with the words QUEEK and HOVEN. Centrally in the leaves wrought-iron decoration with scroll and leaf-shaped ornaments and on the outer side of the piers a wrought-iron volute.
