"VILLA ELISE".
Voormalige tuinmanswoning en gastenverblijf in een ecletisistische stijl met ondermeer neorenaissance elementen, genaamd "Villa Elise", in 1889 op de plaats van een oudere boerderij gebouwd. Het deels onderkelderde bakstenen gebouw heeft een vrijwel rechthoekige grondslag, een asymmetrische opbouw en wordt overkapt door een samengesteld zadeldak. De centraal geplaatste hoofdingang is toegankelijk middels een bakstenen trap van recente datum die voor de bescherming niet in aanmerking komt. De voorgevel (zuid) is links voorzien van een veranda en rechts van een topgevel met van royale overstek die met makelaarswerk gedecoreerd is. De noord-, zuid-, en westgevel hebben een niet regelmatige indeling. Door middel van een doorgang tussen Villa Elise en de oranjerie uit ca. 1830 zijn beide complexonderdelen met elkaar verbonden. In 1997-98 werd het pand gerestaureerd en deels verbouwd. In het INTERIEUR zijn ondermeer de hoofdstructuur, het trappenhuis met schilderingen en tekst bewaard gebleven.
VILLA ELISE is van algemeen cultuur- en architectuurhistorisch belang vanwege de ouderdom, het eclectisistische ontwerp van het exterieur waarin ondermeer neorenaissance elementen zijn opgenomen, de ensemblewaarde en de functioneel-ruimtelijke relatie met de overige onderdelen van het complex.

Description
"VILLA ELISE".
Former garden keeper's dwelling and guest accommodation in an eclectic style with, among other elements, neo-renaissance features, named "Villa Elise", built in 1889 on the site of an older farmhouse. The partly basement brick building has an almost rectangular plan, an asymmetrical composition and is covered by a complex gabled roof. The centrally placed main entrance is accessible by means of a brick staircase of recent date which is not considered for protection. The front facade (south) is provided on the left with a veranda and on the right with a stepped gable with generous overhang decorated with brickwork. The north, south and west facades have an irregular arrangement. By means of a passage between Villa Elise and the orangery from circa 1830 both complex components are connected. In 1997-98 the building was restored and partly renovated. In the INTERIOR the main structure, stairwell with paintings and text have been preserved among other things.
VILLA ELISE is of general cultural and architectural-historical importance because of its age, the eclectic design of the exterior in which neo-renaissance elements are among other things incorporated, ensemble value and the functional-spatial relationship with the other components of the complex.
