Inleiding
Eind negentiende eeuws baarhuis en toegangshek op negentiende eeuwse kerkhof, rondom de van oorsprong veertiende eeuwse kerk (rijksmonumentnummer. 39905), die tegenwoordig wordt gebruikt door de Hervormde Gemeente. De begraafplaats kan worden betreden via het smeedijzeren toegangshek. Het baarhuisje staat ten westen achter de kerk.
Omschrijving
Het baarhuisje is opgetrokken vanuit een rechthoekige plattegrond en heeft een met Hollandse pannen gedekt zadeldak met versierde windveren. In de voorste kopgevel met hoeklisenen bevinden zich zware, getoogde inrijdeuren met sierlijke panelen in beide deurvleugels, een rond venstertje met gietijzeren roosters schuin boven de bovenhoeken van de entree, met daarboven een getoogde uitgemetselde lijst zonder invulling. De twee traveeën lange zijgevels zijn voorzien van getraliede ronde vensters tussen lisenen. In de achterste kopgevel bevindt zich één, eveneens getralied rond venster. Het smeedijzeren toegangshek hangt aan gecanneleerde gietijzeren hekpijlers met smeedijzeren vleugelstukken.
Waardering
Het karakteristieke baarhuisje en het smeedijzeren hek maken integraal deel uit van het ensemble van de overigens veel oudere kerk met het omringende kerkhof. Derhalve en vanwege de functie hebben baarhuisje en hek zowel ensemble- als cultuurhistorische waarde.

Late nineteenth-century bier house and entrance gate on nineteenth-century churchyard, surrounding the originally fourteenth-century church (national monument number 39905), which is nowadays used by the Reformed Church. Description
The bier house is constructed on a rectangular footprint and has a gabled roof covered with Dutch tiles with decorative weathervanes. In the front gable with corner pilasters are heavy, arched carriage doors with ornamental panels in both door leaves, a small round window with cast-iron grilles set diagonally above the upper corners of the entrance, above which is an arched rendered band without filling. The two-bay long side facades are provided with latticed round windows between pilasters. In the rear gable is one, likewise latticed round window. The wrought-iron entrance gate hangs on fluted cast-iron gate pillars with wrought-iron wing pieces.
Valuation
