Inleiding:
In oorsprong uit de tweede kwart van de 18de-eeuw daterende boerderij, in ieder geval van na 1737, toen de grond voor de bouw door de eigenaar C.J. Verheul werd gekocht. Uit deze oudste periode van de boerderij dateert thans nog het stalgedeelte. De boerderij heette De Rijswijkse Hope. Het oorspronkelijke woonhuisgedeelte brandde in 1870 af en werd in hetzelfde jaar in eigentijdse stijl weer opgetrokken. Twee stichtingstenen herinneren aan deze bouwactiviteit. Rechts van de ingang in de zuidgevel van het woonhuisgedeelte vermeldt een steen: "De eerste steen gelegd van dit gebouw door N. v. Leeuwen oud 93 jaren" op 14 juli 1870. De andere steen werd aangebracht links van de toegangsdeur naar de keuken in de oostgevel van het stalgedeelte. Deze steen vermeldt de tekst: "De eerste steen gelegd door A. en C. Verheul" eveneens op 14 juli 1870. Bij deze herbouw kreeg de boerderij haar huidige naam. Opmerkelijk is de voor het jaar 1870 historiserende asymmetrische (gevel)indeling van het voorhuis met onderkelderde opkamer in de trant van een 17de-eeuwse boerderij met opkamer.
Omschrijving:
Dwarshuisboerderij op L-vormige grondslag, opgetrokken in rode baksteen en overkapt door met Oud-Hollandse pannen gedekte zadeldaken met overstek en ornamentele lijst (voorhuis en het in 1870 eveneens opnieuw opgetrokken in het verlengde van het stalgedeelte gelegen achterhuis). De kozijnen van de venster- en deurpartijen van dit gedeelte uit 1870 zijn licht getoogd en voorzien van een gele strek.
Voor(zuid-)gevel v oorhuis: iets links van het midden de panelen entreedeur met gietijzeren rooster waarachter gefigureerd en gekleurd glas en met 2-ruitsbovenlicht. Links twee 6-ruitsschuifvensters. Rechts van de deur ter plaatse van de opkamer twee hoger gelegen 6-ruitsschuifvensters. Eronder twee iets in de gevel terugliggende 6-ruits keldervensters met diefijzers en luiken onder korfboog.
Rechter gevel voorhuis: twee aan de voorgevel van het opkamergedeelte identieke vensters met idem keldervensters. Op de verdieping een 4-ruits rondboogvenster met een 2-ruits halfvenster aan weerszijden en met spaakroeden in het boogveld.
Linkergevel voorhuis: in de topgevel een 6-ruitsschuifvenster. Achtergevel voorhuis aan NO-zijde een kelderluik met ruitvormig venster, waarvoor diefzijdes en luiken.
Oostgevel stal- en achterhuisgedeelte: Aan de linkerzijde het in 1870 eveneens deels vernieuwde achterhuis met toegangsdeur met 4-ruitsbovenlicht. Links hiervan een 6-ruitsschuifvenster en rechts een enkel 8-ruitsschuifvenster (waarschijnlijk van vóór 1870). Rechts hiervan op de scheiding van het 18de-eeuwse muurwerk van het stalgedeelte en het muurwerk uit 1870 een deels in de gevel verzonken zolderluik onder zadeldak met sierlijst). In de gevel van het stalgedeelte 3 brede vensterkozijnen met indeling van recente datum. De westgevel van het stal- en achterhuisgedeelte is identiek aan de oostgevel, echter zonder zolderluik en met een iets andere vensterindeling. Achterzijde: drie staldeuren met boven de centrale deur een zolderluik.
Inwendig: het voorhuis kent nog zijn oorspronkelijke indeling met kaaskelder en opkamer. In de kelder rode en in de hal grijze plavuizen. In het woonvertrek links van de hal de paneeldeuren van een (niet meer aanwezige) bedstee. Zolder: gaaf bewaard 'Philibert-spant'. In het achterhuis de oude keuken uit de bouwtijd (18de eeuw) met vloer van gele ijsselsteentjes, schouw met oven en waterfornuis, waterput, molensteen van de in de naast de boerderij oorspronkelijk gelegen karnmolen.
In de stal deels het oors pronkelijke gebint.

De boerderij Spoorzicht is van algemeen cultuurhistorisch belang vanwege:
-de ouderdom;

The west gable of the stable and rear house section is identical to the east gable, however without a loft hatch and with a slightly different window arrangement. Rear side: three stable doors with above the central door a loft hatch.
Interior: the front house still retains its original layout with cheese cellar and upper room. In the cellar red tiles and in the hall grey tiles. In the living room to the left of the hall the paneled doors of a (no longer present) bed alcove. Loft: well-preserved 'Philibert-truss'. In the rear house the old kitchen from the time of construction (18th century) with floor of yellow Ijssel tiles, chimney with oven and water stove, water pump, millstone from the butter churn mill originally located next to the farmhouse.
In the stable partly the original roof truss structure.
