Inleiding
LANGSDEELSCHUUR uit de 18de eeuw, behorend bij een in 1936 vervangen oude boerderij die in beginsel uit eind 17de eeuw dateerde. De Vlaamse schuur ligt in de buurtschap Boschoven dat deel uitmaakt van het oorspronkelijke cultuurlandschap van Baarle-Nassau. De schuur is volledig intact, maar wordt sinds kort niet meer gebruikt.
Beschrijving
De schuur met de nokrichting parallel aan de weg gelegen, heeft een hoog schilddak gedekt met Oudhollandse pannen. Fitse lstekwanden, afgeschermd door platen board, liggen aan de lange en korte zijde gericht naar de weg. Aan het erf deels houten en stenen muren. Hoge opgeklampte inrijdeuren aan erf-, dichtgezette deuren aan de veldzijde van de schuur. Inwendig is het driebeukige gebint gaaf bewaard. Op het terrein staan 20 linden van ca. 2 m omtrek.
Waardering
De schuur is van cultuurhistorische waarde uit oogpunt van agrarische bedrijfsgeschiedenis. Zij heeft architectuurhistorische waarde vanwege de typologische zeldzaa mheid en het bijzondere materiaalgebruik. De schuur heeft betekenis wegens de situering in een gebied met een nog grotendeels middeleeuwse landschapsinrichting. De schuur is van belang wegens het gaaf behouden in- en exterieur en de historische zeggingskracht.

SIDE-AISLE BARN from the 18th century, belonging to an old farmstead originally dating from the late 17th century which was replaced in 1936. The Flemish barn is located in the hamlet of Boschoven which forms part of the original cultural landscape of Baarle-Nassau. The barn is completely intact, but has not been used for some time.
Description
The barn with ridge direction parallel to the road has a high hipped roof covered with Old Dutch pan tiles. Timber-frame walls, screened by board cladding, are oriented to the road on the long and short sides. At the farmyard partly wooden and stone walls. High hinged carriage doors at the farmyard, closed doors at the field side of the barn. Internally the three-aisle timber frame is well preserved. On the site stand 20 lime trees of approximately 2 m girth.
Valuation
The barn has cultural-historical value from the perspective of agricultural business history. It has architectural-historical value because of its typological rarity and the exceptional material use. The barn has significance because of its location in an area with a still largely medieval landscape organisation.
