Omschrijving
Brug nr. 455 over de zich versmallende westelijke waterpartij in het park in het verlengde van het pad naar de uitgang aan de Emmalaan bij een viersprong aan de noordzijde. Smeedijzeren vaste brug, waarvan dek voorzien van houten delen, met gemetselde landhoofden. Sierijzeren balustraden tussen ijzeren balusters afgedekt met geprofileerde houten leuningen. De balustraden lopen aan beide zijden door langs de walkant en worden gedragen door een natuurstenen plint.
Waardering
Smeedijzeren brug van belang vanwege de typologische waarde alsmede van belang vanwege de ligging in het Vondelpark.

Description
Bridge no. 455 over the narrowing western body of water in the park in line with the path to the exit at Emmalaan at a crossroads at the north side. Wrought-iron fixed bridge, of which deck furnished with wooden elements, with mortared abutments. Ornamental iron balustrades between iron balusters topped with profiled wooden handrails. The balustrades run along both sides by the path and are supported by a natural stone plinth.
Valuation
Wraught-iron bridge of importance on account of its typological value as well as of importance on account of its location in the Vondelpark.
