Omschrijving
Brug nr. 453 over het zich versmallende deel van de mid-westelijke waterpartij in het park, nabij het Rosarium. Smeedijzeren vaste brug, waarvan het dek is voorzien van houten delen, op smeedijzeren constructie, rustend aan iedere zijde op drie waterhoofden in de vorm van Korinthische zuilen onder korbelen. Gemetselde landhoofden waarop aan iedere zijde twee natuurstenen pylonen. De beide randliggers zijn in het midden voorzien van gietijzeren vrouwekoppen. Tussen de ijzeren sierbalustraden balusters met bolvormige bekroningen.
Waardering
Smeedijzeren brug van belang vanwege de typologische waarde alsmede van belang vanwege de ligging in het Vondelpark.

Bridge no. 453 over the narrowing part of the mid-western body of water in the park, near the Rosarium. Wrought-iron fixed bridge, of which the deck is furnished with wooden elements, on wrought-iron construction, resting on each side on three water heads in the form of Corinthian columns under corbels. Mortared abutments on which on each side two natural stone pylons. Both side girders are furnished in the middle with cast-iron female heads. Between the iron ornamental balustrades balusters with spherical finials.
Valuation
Wraught-iron bridge of importance on account of its typological value as well as of importance on account of its location in the Vondelpark.
