Inleiding
In de zuidoostelijke hoek van het kloostercomplex, aan de Buiksloterweg gelegen in 1930 gerealiseerd DUBBELWONINGBLOK, oorspronkelijk ontworpen voor vier woningen in traditionalistische stijl in opdracht van het kerkbestuur van de parochie St. Rita, omgeven door een smeedijzeren hekwerk met bakstenen pijlers. Vermoedelijk is het ontwerp van A.J. Kropholler, de ontwerptekeningen zijn gesigneerd door A.J. Kropholler en A. Tilanus.
Omschrijving
Symmetrisch opgezette dubbelwoning, bestaande uit beganegrond, verdieping en een kapverdieping onder een met rode pannen gedekt zadeldak met lage schoorstenen. Op de zuidoostelijke hoek een vanaf de grond en hoog boven het dak uitstekende gemetselde schoorsteen. De dubbelwoning heeft aan weerszijden een teruggerooid bouwdeel bestaande uit twee bouwlagen onder een plat dak, waarin zich twee gekoppelde houten toegangsdeuren bevinden. In de voorgevel trapeziumvormige erkers waarboven een balkon met opengewerkte borstwering. Hiertussen in het middengedeelte op de begane grond en de verdieping drie gekoppelde vensters, voorzien van natuurstenen hoekblokken en onderdorpels. Tussen de vensterrijen in het midden een tegeltableau met roos en rozeblad. Op het dak aan de voorzijde een dakkapel met aan weerszijden twee dakramen van verschillend formaat. In de gevel van de links gelegen ingangspartij, die verbonden is met de kerkelijke nevenruimten, een spitsboogvormige doorgang met natuurstenen hoekblokken en ijzeren poorthek. Tegen deze gevel is een natuurstenen heiligenbeeld geplaatst onder een dakruiter.
Waardering
Dubbelwoning behorend tot het kerkelijk complex, als complexonderdeel van algemeen belang vanwege de cultuur- en architectuurhistorische waarde in een voor Kropholler kenmerkende traditionalistische stijl. Tevens van belang vanwege de situationele waarde. De dubbelwoning vormt aan de Buiksloterweg de oostelijke afsluiting van het complex.

Description
Symmetrically arranged semi-detached house consisting of ground floor, first floor and an attic storey under a gabled roof covered with red tiles with low chimneys. On the south-eastern corner a brick chimney projecting from the ground and high above the roof. The semi-detached house has on either side a recessed building part consisting of two storeys under a flat roof, in which are two coupled wooden access doors. In the front facade trapezoidal bay windows above which a balcony with open-worked parapet. Between these in the middle section on the ground floor and first floor three coupled windows, furnished with natural stone corner blocks and lintels. Between the window rows in the middle a tile tableau with rose and rose petal. On the roof at the front a dormer with on either side two roof windows of different sizes. In the gable of the entrance section on the left, which is connected to the ecclesiastical ancillary rooms, a pointed-arch-shaped passage with natural stone corner blocks and iron gate grille. Against this gable a natural stone image of a saint is placed under a roof turret.

Also of significance for its situational value. The semi-detached house forms the eastern closure of the complex on Buiksloterweg.
