Complex-onderdeel 2 (KETELHUIS) In 1878-79 naar eclectisch ontwerp van J.W. Meijer tot stand gekomen ketelhuis, opgetrokken in baksteen op een rechthoekige plattegrond onder - in oorsprong met ijzeren golfplaat gedekt - zadeldak met in het midden een ventilatiekap. De gevels zijn, met uitzondering van de blinde noordoostgevel voorzien van spaarvelden met lisenen en rondboogfriezen, waarbij aan de straatzijde drie halve rondboogvensters met ijzeren onder-verdeling en roosterluiken zijn aangebracht, aan de Z-W-zijde vier van dergelijke vensters en aan de fabriekszijde drie stel dubbele deuren met kleine glasroeden, in oorsprong alle bekroond door een groot rondboogvormig bovenlicht met ijzeren onderverdeling, in het midden van de top een geheel rond venster met ijzeren onder-verdeling en te weerszijden elk een rond blindvenster. Complex component 2 (BOILER HOUSE)
Boiler house created in 1878-79 to an eclectic design by J.W. Meijer, erected in brick on a rectangular footprint under - originally with iron corrugated sheet covered - gabled roof with a ventilation cap in the middle. The facades are, with the exception of the blind north-east facade, provided with sparing fields with pilasters and round-arched friezes, whereby on the street side three semi-round-arched windows with iron glazing bars and latticed shutters are placed, on the south-west side four such windows and on the factory side three sets of double doors with small glass lights, originally all crowned by a large round-arched fanlight with iron glazing bars, in the middle of the apex a completely round window with iron glazing bars and on either side a round blind window. Internally the building, in which originally three steam boilers were installed, contains iron Polonceau trusses for the load-bearing structure. Boiler house with building-historical and stylistic characteristics typical for its time of origin and original - connected to the application of steam power - function.
