Omschrijving
HOOFDINRIJHEK. Op de as van het huis aan de Berkenallee gelegen hoofdinrijhek, bestaande uit een dubbel smeedijzeren hek met lansvormige spijlen, onderbroken door een band van in elkaar gevlochten punt-ovalen (thans blauw geschilderd) en geflankeerd door 2 vierkante bakstenen pijlers op hardstenen voeting en met hardstenen geprofileerde vierkante dekplaat. Aan weerszijden een waaiervormig smeedijzeren vleugelstuk. De pijlers worden bekroond door een heraldische leeuw. De leeuwen tonen beide een schild met tekst: links "HUIZE" en rechts "NYENHUIS". Het hek dateert uit de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw.

Description
MAIN ENTRANCE GATE. On the axis of the house on the Berkenallee, the main entrance gate, consisting of a double wrought iron gate with lance-shaped spikes, interrupted by a band of interlaced pointed ovals (now painted blue) and flanked by 2 square brick pillars on hard stone bases and with hard stone profiled square coping. On either side a fan-shaped wrought iron wing section. The pillars are crowned by a heraldic lion. Both lions display a shield with text: on the left "HUIZE" and on the right "NYENHUIS". The gate dates from the second half of the 19th century.
