Inleiding
Voormalige KURZAAL, halfvrijstaand in de wand van de Koperstraat, XIX B, in eclectische stijl. Naderhand ingericht als bakkerij 'Ons Dagelijks Brood' van Cooperatieve Vereeniging De Eendracht. Vanaf 1979 is de begane grond, vanwege een doorbraak naar het voormalige Kurhotel, deels in gebruik bij de naburige apotheek en hebben de overige ruimten een woon- of kantoorfunctie gekregen. Het interieur is volledig aan de nieuwe functies aangepast en bezit geen monumentale waarde.
Omschrijving
Kurzaal van een bouwlaag op rechthoekige plattegrond, onder een zadeldakconstructie met pannen. Halfvrijstaand in de wand van de Koperstraat, vormt van oudsher een functionele en architectonische eenheid met het naburige Kurhotel.
Symmetrische vormgeving, met vijf traveeën waarvan de derde uitloopt in een grote topgevel. Deze wordt bekroond door een harp, is op de schouderstukken voorzien van vazen en heeft aanzienlijke klauwstukken. De dakconstructie wordt aan het oog onttrokken door een attiek met vazen, die de bekroning vormen van de lisenen met zuilmotieven, waardoor de vensterassen onderling gescheiden worden. Diamantkoppen, composietkapitelen, cannelures en waterlijsten verfraaien de voorgevel.
Deze heeft rondboogvormige houten T-vensters, een rondboogvormige houten deur en een rondboogvormig houten topgevelvenster.
Waardering

Former SPA HALL, semi-detached in the wall of the Koperstraat, second half of the 19th century, in eclectic style. Subsequently fitted out as bakery 'Ons Dagelijks Brood' of the Cooperative Association De Eendracht. From 1979 the ground floor, due to an opening towards the former Spa Hotel, has been partly in use by the neighbouring pharmacy and the remaining spaces have been converted to residential or office use. The interior has been fully adapted to the new functions and possesses no monumental value.
Description
Spa hall of one storey on rectangular floor plan, under a gabled roof construction with tiles. Semi-detached in the wall of the Koperstraat, has traditionally formed a functional and architectural unity with the neighbouring Spa Hotel.
Symmetrical design, with five bays of which the third rises into a large top gable. This is crowned by a harp, is provided with urns on the shoulder pieces and has substantial clawed brackets. The roof construction is hidden from view by an attic with urns, which form the crowning of the pilasters with column motifs, thereby separating the window bays from each other. Diamond heads, composite capitals, fluting and drip mouldings embellish the front facade.
This has round-arched wooden T-windows, a round-arched wooden door and a round-arched wooden top gable window.
