Introduction DOUBLE VILLA, detached, situated in the south-western quadrant of the roundabout, the Emmaplein, built in 1899 on behalf of W. Bakker after a design by Groninger architect K. Bolhuis in a late eclectic style with stylistic features of the neo-Renaissance.
